Dr. Yueqi Hu joined MME Everett campus in January 2021 as a Assistant Professor (Career Track). His primary research focus is on dynamic response of polymer composites and their structural and interfacial behavior.

His interests also include CAD, collaborative engineering design, virtual reality prototyping and novel manufacturing processes.

Before joining MME, Dr. Hu held a postdoctoral position at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China followed by a masters and doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
