Order of the Engineer
The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer. Learn more about the Order on the Official Order of the Engineer website.
Each Fall and Spring semester, graduating students and faculty members are given the opportunity to be inducted into the Order of the Engineer. Other Washington State University engineering programs also conduct induction ceremonies for Link 60. Total inducted by MME, fall 2004 through fall 2017: 1,499.
